A KILWINNING man is awaiting sentence after he was found in possession of an offensive weapon.
Robert Harper, 28, was found to be in possession of a baseball bat on Dalry's Westpark Wynd on April 3 of this year.
Court papers state that he had no lawful authority or reasonable excuse to have the item there.
Harper, who pleaded guilty at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court this week, now awaits sentencing.
The Kilwinning man, of Dalry Road, has been granted bail and will return to court at a later date.
