A SHOP in Saltcoats has had "illegal vapes" seized for destruction.
It comes following a joint exercise carried out by police in North Ayrshire and the local Trading Standards branch.
They visited a number of vape retailers in the town on Wednesday, September 20, where one store was found to be selling illicit products.
These have since been seized to be destroyed in the latest effort by the two organisations to combat the sales of illegal nicotine vapour products.
