PREMIERSHIP leaders Kilwinning Rangers are set to desert Junior Football.
They have applied to join the proposed new West if Scotland League.
They said in a statement last night: "Today we submitted our application to the new West Of Scotland Football League which is looking to start next season.
"At the moment there are a few other meetings to be had between the West Junior Region and the Lowland League/East of Scotland to find out what the final outcome will be.
"We had planned to have a supporters meeting to allow fans to ask questions but this doesn’t seem a sensible option at the present time.
"If you have any questions send them to us via messenger and we will hold a Facebook Live event to answer these questions and any others, the event will be next week sometime, watch the page for updates.
"We won’t be answering questions related to this in the comments below, please send them via messenger."
